A low difficulty family oriented cache with lots of swag for kids and adults.
This cache is located off one of the fire roads at Wachusett Reservoir, using Gate 8 (which has parking) as the access point. No bush whacking is needed - the cache is close to the fire road. The walk from parking to the cache is about 15 minutes and is all on fire roads. You may want to print out the map since the fire roads are not marked. (To do this, View Gallery, pick the Map and print.) Access from the reservoir beach may not be possible when water levels are high. Please re-hide cache properly.
Bring a camera and add your pictures to the gallery!
We plan on freshening up the swag periodically, to keep it interesting for the kids.
Finding cache in deep snow will be difficult.
