Apiarian adj. having to do with bees or the care of bees.
Private property. We have permission to geocache here. Parking in
'Bee yard' near cache or on county road. Beware: live honey bees on
this property. Bee especially careful in early May when this
commercial beekeeper brings his 5,000 or so bee hives back to
Wisconsin after a long Winter in Florida. Commercial beekeepers
move hives from place to place to pollinate crops and to make
honey. This outfit has hives in various locations throughout
Southeast Wisconsin in groups of 50 or so hives. In the Fall the
honey will be brought back here to be extracted from the combs and
bottled for sale. If you are lucky the small store might be open
and you can buy honey, wax and related bee stuff. Recommend
visiting this cache May to September when property owner is on
site. That is when the business of 'beekeeping' takes place and
store is open. Also note that when owner is not on site there
usually is a renter in one of the houses who may or may not be
friendly to geocachers. Permission given by Garry Oreskovic.
