Geocache Description:

The coordinates given are for the parking for the series and are not for the cache location. You will need to find 'Grumpy' to enable you to find this final cache.

The initial contents are a pencil, logbook, power adaptor, egg cup, 'Snow White' thimble and a biscuits TB.

Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs

This is our 4th series which is approximately a 5.2 mile circular route. This is slightly different to our other series’ as there is only one way it can be completed. The aim is to visit each of the seven dwarfs in turn, in order to find where Snow White is hiding. Once you manage to find her, all we ask is that you take a photograph of her (each cache contains a china thimble with a character on it which MUST NOT be taken/swapped!!)

Parking for this series can be found at the church car park which is at the following coordinates:
N52° 52.064 W002° 05.839
(A sign states that the parish has given permission for anyone to park there at their own risk).

We have given you the precise coordinates for ‘Doc’ and this MUST be found first.

The order in which the caches must be found is as follows:

1. Doc (we have given you the precise coordinates)
2. Bashful (precise coordinates are found in Doc)
3. Happy (precise coordinates are found in Bashful)
4. Dopey (precise coordinates are found in Happy)
5. Sneezy (precise coordinates are found in Dopey)
6. Sleepy (precise coordinates are found in Sneezy)
7. Grumpy (precise coordinates are found in Sleepy)
8. Snow White (precise coordinates are found in Grumpy)

With the exception of ‘Doc’, the coordinates given for each of the dwarfs are only an approximation to help you plan a route. The exact coordinates however are very likely to be along the same route ;-)

When attempting to complete this series we recommend you taking some gloves with you as there are plenty of nettles about. It isn’t really child friendly or dog friendly due to the amount of nettles underfoot and the high/overgrown grass. Everything seems to be growing wild at this time of year! Also we came across lots of wild life including, pigs, cows, sheep, horses, dogs and pheasants.

Looking at the logs from our other caches and reading that most people are not the biggest fans of the micro caches, we decided to go with the larger cache types i.e. tupperware boxes for this series. Therefore all caches are suitable for travel bugs/swaps etc.

We planted these caches on a glorious Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed the walk. We hope you do too.

Nicola & Lee.
