anderen Straßenseite.
Empfohlene Route
Aufstieg auf dem sog. Normalweg (Terrain: 2,5 - 3), teilweise
steil, die letzte halbe Stunde sehr schöne Gratwanderung.
Abstieg über Südsteig (Terrain: 3,5), sehr steil, aber
landschaftlich reizvoll zwischen Felsen und über Geröllhalden
abwärts Die Strecke ist gut beschildert und markiert.
Aufstieg auch ab Tauplitz möglich; bitte Wanderkarte
konsultieren.

Varied hike up to the summit of Gwendlistein, Hechlstein’s
pretty little sister; should be snow-free from the end of May on.
The whole hike up to the summit and back again will take you
about 4.5 hours; altitude difference: 630 meters (about 2.100
ft.)
Parking
at the church in Wörschachwald. signposts showing the way to
Gwendlistein can be found on the other side of the road.
Recommended route
Ascent on the so-called normal trail (“Normalweg”,
terrain: 2.5 - 3), partly steep, the last 30 minutes are a very
nice walk along the ridge.
Descend on the southern trail (“Süd”, terrain: 3.5)
between rocks and across boulders, very steep, but appealing.
The route is well marked.
Ascent also possible from Tauplitz; please consult a map.
