While hiking the trails here in Granville S.F., I happened to look
over and see something amazing and very rare. A massive old growth
pine. Event thought this old pine is now a skeleton of its past
life, you can still see how big this Pine could have been.
Not being any expert in trees, I would have to guess that this big
guy must have been well over 200 years old when it finally
died.
Please do not destroy the tree in any way but admire it. The cache
is not within the tree, but it is very close to it.
