Geocache Description:

Cache is a medium camoed Lock 'n Lock. The cache is on relatively steep incline. There is pretty good footing but could be slippery after rains. Please be sure to place camo back just as you found it so muggles can't see the cache. Approx. 6ft. below road elevation. No need to go under anything or go near the water. Plenty of room to park just North at the BLM road at Johnson creek less than 150ft. from the cache. Again I stress putting back the camo so cache cannot be seen.

This cache was placed in honor of our "Pop". He was an avid salmon fisherman and used to take our oldest son (another geocacher) to this location to watch the salmon run. He left us 10 years ago and his request was to be there for future salmon runs. So when you find the cache be sure to say "Hi" to Pop.

On the way to place this cache we found the Seward Silver Salmon Derby coin at Smith River Falls, a place he use to salmon fish. It was like we were meant to find that coin in that place on that day so we placed it in his cache for the FTF. Pop would have loved that coin. There is also a Firefighters Geocoin.

For the first to find there is also a prize. One of the handmade beaded bracelets my wife makes for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life event.
