This is cache 2 of a new series I plan to
lay out along the BPA power right of way in south east Renton. I
want to honor the cachers in the area that have inspired me in the
sport of Geocaching in some way or have done a lot for the
sport/hobby/obsession.
Cache 2 honors my friends Tobias and
Petronella. These two are the king and queen of FTFs. They are
ready at the pop of an email from Rock Rabbit or Ice and Wind to
jump in their cache mobile and hit the road on the hunt for another
FTF.
For their enthusiasm for dropping
everything and going after an FTF, I honor them with this
cache.
The cache is a foot off of the power line
trial in a “matted down” area just off the trial. Do be careful for
blackberry vines as they are prevalent in the area. Muggles may
also be a factor since the one side of the power line is lined with
houses. Being stealthy is always appreciated. Do enjoy the view
here. On a clear day, you can see the Seattle Skyline, the golf
course down the hill and Cougar and Squak Mountains to the north.
The view is quite spectacular. My GPSr was indicating that the
elevation here was all of 414 feet. Quite amazing with 414ft does
when a lot of the area is at sea level or a few feet above. Parking
is tight, but you can park on SE 157 Pl. which is a dead end roadin
a residential area. There is easy access to the power line
road/trial via a pedestrian gate. Thanks T & P!
CONGRATS AGAIN TO MASTER DIRT FOR THE
FTF!
