Geocache Description:

L’Aube prend sa source au Mont Armet, à 375 mètres d’altitude, dans la forêt d’Auberive. La source de l’Aube grossit sur plusieurs dizaines de kilomètres avant de devenir l’imposante rivière qui se jette dans la Seine. Elle est le plus important cours d’eau du département après la Marne. Cette source est une référence en matière de pureté puisque son nom vient du latin « alba » qui signifie « blanche ».

The Aube takes her spring in the Mountain Armet, in the 375 metres in height, in the forest of Auberive. The spring of the Aube gets grows on several tens of kilometres before becoming the impressive river which throws itself into the Seine. It is the most important stream of the department after the Marne. This spring is a reference in purity because its name comes from the Latin "alba" who means "white".
