Geocache Description:

Please join us, Team Honeybunnies (Seth and Marie) and zuma (Ralph), as we prepare to celebrate our 10,000 find. We are planning this as a brief brunch event before heading out to find our 10,000th cache, which will be GCZYYE, Natural Bridge Outback Cache, by Hotdogs Off Trail

Date: June 20, 2009

Time: 9 a.m to 10 a.m.

What: A brunch of pastry, juice and pop will be provided for guests, and this will hopefully be our 9999th find. We will leave the area promptly at 10 a.m. to go after the Natural Bridge Outback cache, which we hope will be the 10,000 find for both teams.

Where: Natural Bridge State Park. We will be at the picnic tables just to the north, and within sight of the parking area..

Who: All geocachers are welcome at the event. After the event, we hope that some of the many friends that we have made along the way will join us in finding our 10,000th find. It looks like the walk is about a mile or so round trip, but we will be going on a slower than usual pace, given that Noah and Lauryn will be traveling with us. So all abilities are welcome to join us for a nice walk in the woods in a beautiful place..

Cost; Free. You will need a DNR park sticker though..

Why: Why not? Our two teams have both experienced a dwindling interest in numbers just for the sake of numbers, even as our find count has increased. Yet 10K is a pretty big milestone along the path of finding great places through geocaching that seems worthy of celebrating. Our two teams decided to make the 10K milestone a joint find since we have been neck to neck in the find count for so long, and have enjoyed caching great places together. We invite all other geocachers to share in this celebration..
