LSP permit # 30. Park hours apply, there is a charge to enter the park in the summer between 9am and 5pm, but you can park in a little lot just before the north gate and walk to trailhead 20 with no charge. Parking coords-N 42 44.438 W 077 53.438
This is our version of the Nature calls series begun by Paleoman. At part one you will be looking for a set of coords for the final. The difficulty rating is for part one only, a hint is provided. If you find it, you will come up smelling like a rose.
This is a nice easy hike starting at the head of trail 20 in an area that is frequented by deer. The hike is just under 1/2 mile one way.
From part one to part two, you can go back down trail 20, or follow some deer trails to some nice open forest. The final is a 30cal ammo can with some "appropriate" goodies. Please make sure you put it back as good as you found it.
FTF gets a gold coin. There is also an interesting old bottle in the cache we found on the way.
As always we leave our phone # for the truly desperate 585-451-4988
Thanks to park director Roland Beck and P-man for his help.
