This is a large ammo can in beautiful Pocahontas State Park near the new Equestrian Center.
This cache was placed for the Richmond Rally VI and in honor of Pocahontas's newest playground, the Equestrian Center. The most logical parking if the Equestrian Center lot is not open is the Old Horse Trailer Parking lot. It is at least a one and a half miles round trip walk from this lot. Another possibility is walking over from the main gate parking area. Please don't park anywhere on the road into the Equestrian Center as parking is NOT allowed anywhere on this road. Parking in Pocahontas does involve a fee that can be paid at the main gate. Make sure you walk a bit further and catch the other two new caches nearby!
While we weren't fortunate enough to see any horses while placing this cache, we did see a number of park inhabitants visiting the area, keep your eyes open! Good Luck!
