Alright I know it might not sound quite right but it's the best I could offer.
Anyway on to the cache this is a quick but enjoyable walk and once at the cache site, will provide great views of the reservoir and the surrounding area of North Ayrshire and beyond if you get a really clear day. Best park on the B780 next to the Busbie Muir reservoir. There are two possible routes to this one as mentioned in previous logs. You can take the walk around the reservoir to the next waypoint. There is a path but it can be muddy in places and also some of the boardwalk is unstable. After reaching the waypoint it is then uphill and follow the arrow. Alternatively you can walk up the road to the windmill farm and then cut across. The choice is yours.
The cache is a small tupperware box with log book, pencil and various items.
Unfortunately no food stored in the box so you will have to bring your own, sit down for a while and admire the views. Great place for a picnic !!!!!
