These caches are in a loop around Lake Corpus Christi and are mostly park and grabs. Pump up your numbers or just enjoy the ride.
Welcome to Lake Corpus Christi or "Lake Mathis" as the town people still call it. We want to share some of the sights you might see around this area and help you get a few caches also. The Wesley Seale Dam built on the Nueces River near Mathis, Camp Karankawa, a boy scout camp, and Zephyr Baptist Encampment were areas where I spent a lot of my youth.
Along the loop, you may see buffalo, raindeer, antelope and many other types of wildlife. Always be mindful of snakes and other varmints when searching for the cache.
Come along for the ride and enjoy some of these places you may not know about and get a smiley to boot.
