Geocache Description:

This cache requires about 600 feet of light bushwhacking.

This cache is located in an area called "Southlake". It seems that Norman thought about making this a park, though the city only owns a small portion of the land around this lake. Google Maps actually calls this area "Southlake Park", but there are no signs to indicate it is an official park, nor does Norman mention this area on the city website. There are no paved pathways here -- access to the cache site requires wading through some high grass and dodging some trees.

I found numerous ticks on me after placing this cache, so watch out! I did not notice any thorns or poison plants. The best parking is east of the cache site on Southlake Road. You may also park to the north, but the walk may be slightly longer and you would be walking close to an apartment complex.

You are searching for a roughly cube-shaped Tupperware-style container wrapped in camo tape.

Congratulations to Rosemark for the FTF!
