Located at the south end of the Lower Wolf Trail System, this cache can be approached from a number of trailheads.
I love urban trail systems! The Wolf Trails span both sides of Highway 2 right on the edge of Newport.
The best approach to this cache is the urban trailhead just off Warren Avenue. There is a slight pullout for your vehicle at the "Trailhead" sign. If you would like to park in a designated lot, either the Upper Wolf or the Lower Wolf trailheads will get you the access you need. Please note that if you decide to approach from the Upper Wolf side, you will eventually cross Highway 2. Be careful!
The cache is small and flat with an 18 inch cord attached.
Heavy canopy will require your patience and skill. The signal will be bouncy.
