Geocache Description:

This is one of a new series of Aspen Park caches that I am squeezing into limited space (because of other existing caches) to lure back veteran cachers and to encourage newbies to the sport.

Aspen Park is Gaylord's version (much humbler!) of New York City's Central Park. There are paved trails for walking and marked trails for mountain biking. The paved trails and a section of unpaved pathway that runs near the pond are groomed for cross-country skiing in the winter.

The container is hidden near a small pond that hosts a variety of wildlife. Beaver are sometimes in residence; muskrats, herons and frogs are regular residents. There are foot trails that lead to the area of the cache hide; it is off of the main trail that leads past what is known as Scott's Pond.

Do exercise some stealth in your search, retrieval and replacement as children and young folks make regular appearances in the area. They seem harmless, mainly interested in catching frogs or youthful romance or setting off occasional fireworks!

You are looking for a small camo'ed plastic screw top jar.
