I had set this in honour of our 36th cache placed. That obviously being my favourite number. Rowan is another name for Mountain Ash. The berries are very bitter but chockful of vitamin C, we always eat them on the trail. The cache is a small camo'd L&L with a logbook, pencils and some small treasures.
Everyone who has done Rowan's Cache before, feel free to find and log it again. There is a FTF prize which includes a $5 Happy Prospector coin.
The trail to the cache is part of a loop trail. Either way will get you back to your car. If you have a canoe you can make this a sail by : ).
Bring a picnic, sit down and enjoy the view! Then look over your right shoulder and you just might spot the cache.

This cache was never intended to be harder to find than difficulty 2, but has become somewhat of a challenge. Future finders feel free to post spoiler pics or better hints than ours. R&1there
