In April, Ranger Fox and myself went to Oak Ridge, TN for a couple days of caching prior to Geoquest III. I was excited because I had never really been "power caching" before. I had no idea when we started caching that day, just after midnight, that we would be getting as many as we did. I don't think RF had any idea either.
We only found 12 between midnight and 9am. We had 100 before dark. It slowed down quite a bit after dark and our route went kinda wonky. We were amazed at how quickly they all added up. When it was all over, we found the 166th cache at 11:59pm and I was addicted to power runs forever! My previous best day was a meager 65.
OK, great. So why am I publishing a cache to celebrate this fact. I want to challenge someone to try to beat it. Go ahead, it can be done. And I want to hear about it. Post a note in this cache to tell us all about your day. I have plenty of great stories about that day. Have fun.
