Spoiler on how to solve it:
First you had to translate the Elvish on the inside of the ring. It was a url. On that site was another puzzle with columns of letters. If you highlighted the puzzle with your mouse, you would discover some more hidden text. (Kinda like throwing the ring into the fire to reveal the script) If you would print off the page, cut the columns into vertical strips and then align them correctly, and tape them into a ring, you could spell characters from the Lord of the Rings, and what's left is the correct coordinates.
