Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Cooks Glen parcel of land, which is owned by Chester County and maintained by the Chester County Parks and Recreation Department.

The only parking area allowed for this cache is the pull-off along Cooks Glen Road by the bridge over French Creek. Please do not park anywhere else and do not drive across the field!

You should only seek this cache during daylight hours. Leashed dogs are allowed. Be aware that bow hunting does take place on this property so exercise caution during hunting season. Your journey will take you through a field and into the woods on a trail within sight of French Creek. I would recommend wearing long pants since you will be going through a field with waist-high grass.

The cache itself is a green ammo can. The lid will probably come completely off when you open it, but it can be easily re-attached when you close it. After logging your find, take a moment to enjoy the peace and beauty of this area.

This cache was placed with the permission of Chester County Parks & Recreation Department. All caches must have the permission of Chester County Parks and Recreation Department. Please follow all Chester County Parks and Recreation Rule and Regulations. Parks are open year-round, 8 am to sunset. Dogs are permitted on a 6' leash. Hunting may take place within the parks during applicable hunting seasons. For more information on Chester County Parks and contact information, please visit http://www.chesco.org/ccparks.
