Geocache Description:

LEWES MARITIME HISTORY TRAIL

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. It is a five stop multi cache with the final at Cape Henlopen State Park.

This cache is in conjunction with Lewes Maritime History Trail I by rehobch.

This trail tells the story of Lewes' maritime history. For more than 350 years, the sea has shaped the history of Lewes from shipbuilding, piloting the river , to the fishery industury. Each stop will have a different story to tell.

There are ten signs around the coastal areas of Lewes. Some of the signs will be close together, in all you will be making seven stops along the trail. For Rehobch's cache, you will be answering questions from the odd number signs. For our cache, you will be answering questions from the even number signs. After answering all the questions, you can find two final caches that have been placed in different parts of Lewes.
