I was very curious about this trail that I noticed when I was steelhead fishing last fall.
So Bear_that_Sings and I came up here to scout for the upcoming deer season and this is one of the places we hiked. We took along the fishing rods, because, after all it was named the Bluff creek trail, but instead the trail seemed to parallel the highway- 500 ft. above.
After we came to another part that had slid downhill for about the twentieth time, and got tangled in yet another whitethorn bush, I was fed up.
This trail is not going to be maintained any more with the current budget crisis, and will soon revert to the wild. But I have put a geocache here so that hikers may find it for now.
