Odinshøj er et af de højeste punkter på kystskrænten mellem Helsingør og Hornbæk (41 m.o.h.). Den blev navngivet i 1770'erne af ejeren af Kronborg Geværfabrik, Ernst Schimmelmann, og hans hustru Emilie og har siden været et yndet udsigtspunkt og i sin tid en af Nordkystens store attraktioner. Odinshøj blev beplantet og indhegnet af Schimmelmann, der antagelig også lod rejse en stor, nu forsvunden, mindesten på højen i form af en klassicistisk stele.

Under Englandskrigene i begyndelsen af det 19. århundrede blev Odinshøj basis for en telegrafstation. Odinshøj er i dag fredet.

Odinshøj is one of the highest points on the coastline between Helsingør and Hornbæk (41 m above sea level). It was named in the 1770’s by the owner of Kronborg Geværfabrik (Kronborg Gun Factory), Ernst Schimmelmann and his wife Emilie. At that time it was one of the attractions of the Northern Coastline. Since then it has been a popular viewpoint.

During the War against Britain (1801-1814), Odinshøj was used for a telegraph station. Nowadays the mound is protected.

Use the reference point for directions. Otherwise the terrain rating will increase considerably.
