I knew about this place because my Uncle lived close by and we go hunting is this area a good bit of the time. I didn't know that this park had a trail! I saw where Agent Mulder had placed a cache and I tried to do it justice! It is an old camoed mayonaise jar. The total trail is 1 1/4 miles with easy terrain. They are in the process of redoing the boardwalks, so I do not know what you will find. The coordinates maybe off, my GPS has been whacked out lately, but it is there and you will only find it if you look for it : )! Enjoy this nice swimming hole! Only open during daylight hours.
Pay the $2.00 day use fee and proceed across the dam. After crossing the dam, look up and to your right for the remains of an old parking area. Look for the entrance to a trail. Follow trail to cache! Or you can use th trail head at the end of the parking lot close to the bathrooms
