Starting Point for the Canby Chamber of Commerce Geocoin
Challenge.
THIS CACHE IS A REQUIRED CACHE TO EARN THE 2009 CANBY CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE GEOCOIN. This is a quick and easy 'Find' of an Ammo Can
that contains the information for the 2009 Canby Chamber of
Commerce Geocoin Challenge. There is a new Canby Chamber of
Commerce Geocoin and there are some requirements to complete the
Challenge and earn one of the Geocoins from the Chamber of
Commerce. The complete Rules and the arrival date of the Geocoin
that can be earned will be posted here. I would suggest that you
place this Cache on your "Watch List" so that you will know when
the Challenge can be started. This Cache is a required cache to
claim the Geocoin. This cache, as any Geocaching.com published
Cache, may be 'Found and Logged' by any Geocacher. Those that wish
to earn the Geocoin should enter the date 'Found' on their
Registration Card (Which will be found in the Cache or by getting
one from the Chamber of Commerce during Business Hours). The 2009
Canby Chamber of Commerce Geocoin Challenge Geocoins have been
received and are available to be earned to be earned by interested
Geocachers. To see what they look like go to the 'Gallery' below.
Registration Cards are now available from the Canby Chamber of
Commerce during regular Office Hours. For after hours or on
weekends cards are available from this Cache or the information
pockets on the front porch of the Canby Chamber of Commerce. THE
RULES: Canby Chamber of Commerce Geocoin Challenge Rules If you
wish to earn a New 2009 Canby Chamber of Commerce Geocoin, here are
the Rules: 1. The Canby Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to
modify the Rules at anytime and for any reason. It is suggested
that until you have earned and picked up your Geocoin that you
maintain this cache on your ‘Watch List’ so that you will become
aware of any Rules that are changed. 2. The Standard Rules and
Disclaimers that apply to all Geocaches apply to this Challenge. 3.
You must ‘Find’ and ‘Log’ on geocaching.com and enter on your
Registration Card 10 (ten) Geocaches that you have ‘Found’ in or
within 3 miles of Canby, Oregon. 4. Five of those Geocaches must be
those that are listed on the Registration Card. In the event that
you are unable to negotiate the terrain to 'Find' a Required Cache,
you may substitute any other Canby area cache for that Cache.
Please point that change out to the person that you submit your
Registration Card to at the Chamber when you go to Claim your Coin.
5. Registration Cards are available from the Canby Chamber of
Commerce or from the ‘Canby Coin’ Geocache [GC1TDWX]. Please get
your Registration Cards from the Office and leave the Cards in the
Cache for after hours or Weekend Geocachers, they will ‘Thank You’
for doing that!!. 6. All Geocaches must be ‘Found’ within 30 days
of Claiming your earned GeoCoin. 7. To receive your 2009 Canby
Chamber of Commerce Collector’s Geocoin, return the completed
Registration Card to the Canby Chamber of Commerce, 191 SE 2nd
Ave., Canby, Oregon. Office hours: 9-5 Monday-Friday (Closed for
Lunch 12-1). 8. The Canby Chamber of Commerce Geocoin Challenge
ends when the last 2009 Geocoin is given to a Canby Chamber of
Commerce Geocoin Challenge Participant. 9. If you are unable to get
to the Canby Chamber of Commerce during regular Business Hours --
Please give your card to another Friendly Geocacher to Claim your
Canby Geocoin for you as the Chamber is unable to Mail your Coin to
