The Kukonja island is only accessably by vehicle in the dry months. You will need a 4x4 vehicle to get to the island. This is harsh terrain and having a second vehicle along to pull you out is always usefull.
Kukonja island is a remote area on the pans. We went out at the full moon. We found a local spider (Golden Orb) in residence. The cache has been placed in a crevice on the high point of the island.
