Geocache Description:

Cache No. 4 on the Crewe and Nantwich Circular walk. A round trip of 28 miles on flat but, at times, muddy fields and canal tow paths.

The Crewe and Nantwich circular walk circles the two towns of south Cheshire and takes in some interesting locations. It can be a bit muddy and badly signed so I thought that a new cache series might make the route a bit more trampled and obvious. The plan is to locate a cache at approximately 1 mile intervals along the route, starting at No. 1 on the Northern section. Anyone can join in and place a cache on the route - the more the merrier, but try and stick to the one mile rule to start it off.

The stash cache is so named due to the fact that it contains many coins from around the world. It is a clip lid plastic container that would like to see some different coins, so if you have any old small denomonation coins from far flung places lurking in a drawer somewhere, feel free to bring them along and pop one in or swap for some of those in there. When first placed, you will find Norway, USA, France, UK and The Netherlands among others represented. There are also a few conventional swaps. It might be fun to make a note of the oldest coin you find in the cache.

If you aproach from the Moss Lane side, you will need to be comfortable with nosey cows and bullocks following you about and will need to negotiate many pats, old and new plus a couple of stiles. If that puts you off you can get to the cache from a footpath at Bradfield Green on which you will be undisturbed. Parking in various lay-byes on Moss Lane - make sure you don't obstruct any field gates - or at Bradfield Green.
