Parking is located at N 44 33.587 W 72 51.339, the access road entrance is at N 44 33.685 W 72 51.387. Use Corbett Road off of Pleasant Valley Road to get to this access road. This cache is part of the 100 Years in a Box series to help celebrate the Vermont Forestry Division's 100th anniversary during 2009. Check out the website at www.vtforests.com for more information.

This cache hunt entails a nice forest road walk or bike on the Henrik Kruse Block of Mt. Mansfield State Forest, with about 600 foot elevation gain. This piece of land was conserved a few years ago by the efforts of benefactor Henrik Kruse and the VT Land Trust. It is now managed by the VT Forestry Division.

It is recommended to do this search on a clear day as the view from near the cache site is spectacular! From the cache go about 250 feet at a magnetic bearing of 355 degrees, turn around and look to the south for a magnificent view of the summit region.

Please note that this area is popular with hunters!
