Lobis paseptas prie sklupturos "Arka"
Vlado Urbanaviciaus skulptura „Arka“ sukurta is metaliniu daliu, atkartojant Neries krantines forma. Ji pastatyta netoli tos vietos, kur veikia menu platforma „Kultflux“. Toliau už jos stovi Energetikos muziejus su senoviniu mechanizmu ekspozicija ir modernus Lietuvos energijos pastatas.
Priesais matomas monumentalus metalinis Mindaugo tiltas. V. Urbanaviciaus industrinio stiliaus skulptura puikiai isilieja i esama konteksta – ji skatina praeivius atidziau isiziureti i supancia aplinka ir kalvota Vilniaus peizaza. Is tolo arka primena i pavirsiu iskilusia architekturine komunikacine konstrukcija. Tokia „vamzdziu“ estetika, arba funkcionaliu elementu iskelimas i pastato pavirsiu, yra budingas postmoderniai architekturai, kuri siluminiams mazgams, ventiliacijos sachtoms priskiria skulpturines vertes. Geras pavyzdys – Pompidou centras Paryžiuje. Urbanaviciaus industrine estetika praplecia skulpturini Vilniaus zodyna ir kviecia ziurova patirti paradoksalia tariamai nenaudingu, kazkada tik funkcionaliai suvokiamu elementu metamorfozes galia.

“Arch” sculpture by Vladas Urbanavicius is made of metal parts and reminds in its shape the embankment of the Neris. The place designated for the erection of the sculpture is where the art platform “Kultflux” is located. The Energy Museum with exposition of ancient mechanisms and a modern building of “Lietuvos energija” are behind it.
The monumental metal Mindaugas Bridge can be viewed in front of the sculpture. The sculpture of industrial style of V. Urbanavicius ideally matches with the existing context – it stimulates passers-by to look more carefully at the environment surrounding them and to admire the mountainous landscape of Vilnius. From a distance the arch looks like an emerging architectural communication construction. Such aesthetics of “tubes” or transfer of the functional elements to the exterior of the building is characteristic of the post-modern architecture which gives the meanings of sculpture to heating units and ventilation shafts. A good example – is the Pompidou Centre in Paris. Industrial aesthetics of Urbanavicius extends sculptural vocabulary of Vilnius and invites the visitor to experience the paradox power of metamorphosis of seemingly useless elements which some time ago have been perceived as functional
