Geocache Description:

The cache is located on state game lands # 95. Parking can be found at N 41.05.106 W 079.52.900 off Branchton Road Hiking boots are recommended for this cache because of some muddy area’s and a short very steep hill to climb. There is no easy way to get to this cache in the summer. The only advice I can give is to stay on the trail until the cache is directly off to your left then get ready to do some heavy bushwhacking for about 50 to 75 feet. Once you get through the brush, the rest is easy. Do not forget to check out the beaver dams. The dam has 3 levels, you can stand on the main dam and look down at the 2 lower ponds, if you were able to stand at the base of the main dam, it would probably stand around 10 feet high. Update: With the recent logging you can hardly see the Beaver dams.

This cache is dedicated to my mother Mary K Owens, August 1922 to May 2007 and to my 13-year-old Jack Russell Terrier Elmo, 1996 – 2009.

In addition, as mentioned above, this cache is in state game lands # 95, so be mindful of hunters, and dress accordingly (Orange).
