Oneonta's Ellis Island Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

El Fartero: We went out to check on this cache and didn't find it. We also got some dirty looks from a cranky muggle. So I think after >10 years it's time for this cache to fade into the land of memories. Thanks to all who searched.

Geocache Description:

Many a new arrival to Oneonta first set ground at this resettlement facility. To commemorate this entryway to the City of the Hills, we have placed this cache at the site of the view that won us over! We didn't believe the stories that the Lettis Highway is paved in gold, and we walked away from the guy who tried to sell us the Oneonta Roundhouse. However, we had some trouble adjusting to the many rules and regulations. Like, where we came from, nobody cared if you dried your laundry on the railing of your porch!

Cache is an oversize pillbox, with room for small trade items. We encourage those who've made this journey, to share a memory or two in their logs. The Rental Agent reminds you not to leave your wretched refuse near the Recycling Bins, nor to paint your door gold without approval of the Management.
