R2R 4. FECIT TOP. Traditional Geocache

R2R = Round to Rammy. A series of caches which take you out and about, which can be combined together for a days walk starting from Ramsbottom, or you could do them individually.
R2R 4. Fecit Top is a small geocache located near to Fecit Hill, which lies below Scout Moor. Fecit Hill is an escarpment from which there are good views across Greater Manchester. It sounds strange, but you may need to use stealth as the hillside is popular with paragliders. The area is also doted with the wind turnbines of Scout Moor Windfarm.
If you are walking from R2R 3 you just need to walk across the moorland. If you are doing this cache alone, I would advise walking along the footpath known as the Coal Road and then contouring along to the cache site. I would not recommend accessing the cache site directly as the hillside is very steep.
There are a number of other caches in the area, which you could combine with this one.
Please be aware that it is an upland area - so please go prepared. The ground is also uneven underfoot.
