Welcome to Haunted Corpus Cache
Series
This location is the USS Lexington, 2914 N Shoreline Blvd, and is a
landmark of the Corpus Christi area. USS Lexington was a heavily
used aircraft carrier during WWII and saw combat in the Pacific.
The Japanese Navy thought they had sunk the Lexington on four
seperate occasions but the Lexington prevailed earning the nickname
"The Blue Ghost". Two of the most serious attacks were a Japanese
torpedo attack which killed 9 and wounded 35, and a Japanese
torpedo attack which killed 47 and wounded 127.
Reported paranormal activity is mostly from a ghost named "Charly",
a former crew member who appears as a white-uniformed, blue-eyed
young Seaman. "Charly" seems to have great knowledge about the
Lexington engine room and ship history. Other apparitions include a
dark-haired man in dungarees and denim shirt, American/Japanese
pilots in uniform, and one other sailor. These apparitions would
mostly be from the two attacks mentioned in the paragraph
above.
This picture is from the old "Ghost Cam" in the engine room. This
"Ghost Cam" has been deactivated now.

Or take a look at this photo Bro_Ray emailed me:

So while you're on the ship taking a tour you might have "Charly"
as your tour guide.
The cache is a bison tube placed with 15' accuracy. If you get
better coordinates let me know. Watch out for muggles, they are all
over the place and watching you from the nearby restaurant. The
cache is easily viewable by muggles - it's that easy.
