Rainbow Series: Blue Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs or logged into geocaching.com for some time I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Many thanks,
DalesmanX

Geocache Description:

The first in my series of colour themed caches entitled 'The Rainbow Series' which was inspired by 'Grandad's Yellow Cache' at Leven.

This is a themed cache for blue items as the cache is nearby water. The location of the cache is easy but the terrain may challenge those with pushchairs as there are styles and the path is grassy. It is not suitable for wheelchairs.

The site I have chosen is neaby a perfect launch point for water loving dogs! Our dog Alfie loves this spot and swims for ages catching sticks.

If you want to continue the walk there is another cache about 10-15 mins further up at Pulfin nature reserve called 'Pulfin'.

The cache is a small 250ml lock and lock box and when placed had a bendy pencil, a highlighter, an earphone winder and some toe separators for painting your toes.
