A quick micro just off Steps Lane, which goes through Gatcombe Park from Avening. Watch out for dog walkers.
Avening is in the cotswold district, about three miles north of Tetbury.
During the war, Avening lay on the GHQ line. Anti tank ditches were built to the south and the south-east. They were overlooked by a number of pillboxes.
This cache is in the north of the village.
Terrain is three because there is a fairly steep bank to climb at GZ.
The cache is now a small tupperwarre box with room for swaps
