Sounds like a cacher’s story. We drive hundreds of miles and battle thorns, ticks, spiders and snakes. And we sure don’t want to be caught by the evil muggle, Darla! YIKES
This new Equine Trail is located just off the South Island Trail on Kent Island. It was dedicated to Rodney Niedomanski, who was a QAC Councilman. Parking is available. Bring the horses or just walk the trail. There is a diverse ecosystem at work here. You can see wetlands, meadows, farmland, and forest. Please do not cut across the farmland, the trail will take you very close to GZ. This could be a bit strenuous for little ones as a one way trip is .6 miles. I've been watching the development of this area for the last year or so on my bike rides and recently noticed that it was open to the public.
I'VE UPPED THE TERRAIN ON THIS ONE DUE TO LACK OF TRAIL MAINTENANCE. Please realize that this is a dedicated HORSE trail. Geocachers should enjoy the HIKE! I have noticed trail mowing about once a year in the SPRING. That's just when the bugs start getting active.
CONGRATS TO SFCCHAZ FOR FTF!!!!
