This cache is located at one of our favourite places in the New Forest. It takes you there via a beautiful walk along cycle tracks, through nature reserves from our favourite campsite, Denny Wood.
The Co-ordinates given take you to the entrance of Denny Wood campsite, where you will begin the 2.5 mile walk to the cache location (5 miles there and back to Denny Wood). The overall difficulty is set to 2.5 because the cache is well hidden, and the terrain rating is set to 3 because of the walk.
Once you get to Denny Wood campsite, you need to find out the number of pitches that are available there (This might be a little more difficult off season). This gives you the three digit number ABC.

The journey can also be made by bike or horse. If you are unfamiliar with the area, you may wish to purchase a map from the hut at Denny Wood first. Please be aware that the cycle tracks are often used by loggers and their vehicles, and follow the signs. The cache has been placed within the rules and guidelines set by the forestry comission and GAGB.
There are lots of interesting things available for swap in the cache such as bubbles etc. Any positive feed back is welcome.
