There is an easier, less busy route from Ashton to Billinge which allows you to take in some scenery and stop for chips, pizza or even a curry as you pass through bryn. As you reach Garswood, the cache is closer!
There is absolutely no parking at the cache site, in fact you'd be insane to try it. You'd be nervous if your car broke down at the cache site.
