Geocache Description:

Walk along the ridge with views down over Peach Croft Farm and Abingdon.

This cache is part of a circular walk on the edge of North Abingdon. I hope you will enjoy the walk, taking in the views of the surrounding countryside. From the ridge, you look down on the north side of Abingdon and Peach Croft Farm. In the distance, you can see the ‘blot on the landscape’ Didcot Power Station with its chimneys. Beyond you have views of the Ridgeway. This cache is placed just off a public footpath leading to Radley College. Radley College was founded in 1847 by William Sewell and Robert Singleton, and is one of only three remaining schools in the United Kingdom that admits only boys and at which all boys are boarders. The school is centred around a Mansion, formerly Radley Hall (built 1721 to 1725).

This cache runs on from the Lodge Hill Cache.
