This cache hides in the shadows of where a giant Polaris Missile stood for many years. The missile has now been moved further down the road to the entrance to Polaris Point Naval Site 3. The Polaris Missile was built during the Cold War and had a range of 2500 nautical miles until was replaced by the Trident C4.
