Stuffies, Stuffies, Everywhere Traditional Cache
Hidden Leaf Village Ninjas: We have to shut this cache down. It was stolen and due to all the traffic from cachers, the homeless poplulation has moved in and used the trail now opened up. Little Ninja is sad. But we are on the hunt for another location nearby to redo this cache. Thanks to all that visited it! Have fun caching.

Just a little ways off the bike path and into the woods by the Bow River.
A CACHE FOR KIDS
Our Littlest Ninja created this large lock n’ lock camo taped cache. It is full of her passion, stuffies (stuffed animals). Look for this cache just off the bike path and down a short trail. Watch for branches. Hold little one’s hands if they are not sure footed yet. Please rehide COMPLETELY as there is a lot of traffic in this area.
Places you can explore in this area:
- If you look at the Bow River from the cache site, you’ll see a small island consisting mostly of rocks and a lumpy green patch. The green patch is a beaver lodge. If the river is low enough you can access the island by going along the bike path towards the Elbow River and down the large grassy area to a small path, from there you can hop over. You may even see a beaver! This is also an excellent place to fly fish, swim your dog or throw rocks in the river.
- Across the Elbow River is Fort Calgary, a cool place to visit.
- On this side of the Elbow River is the Dean House. It has a long history and might just be haunted. Behind it is the oldest building in Calgary. Look for the plaque.
- If you’re looking for an awesome playground just go up to 8th Ave and 10th street. It has stuff for all ages.
- At 9th Ave and 8th street is a small park full of interesting stone sculptures.
Contained within are stuffies for girls and boys.
Please try to trade stuffies or at least kid friendly toys.
