Geocache Description:

Camo Plastic Container

The Game

GeoBowling is like ten pin bowling. There are eleven caches placed in the Chicago south suburbs. Each cache is known as a GeoBowling frame. You will find a score in the cover of each GeoBowling cache. That is your score for each GeoBowling frame. You are asked to take the score in the order that you find the GeoBowling caches. Each Geobowler can end up with a different score.

Score examples in the cache covers:
X = Strike
7 / = The first Geoball scored 7 and the second Geoball resulted in a spare
5 3 = The first Geoball scored 5 Geopins and the second ball scored 3 more Geopins. The end result is an open frame with a score of 8.

Your score is totaled the same as bowling. If your first Geoframe was a strike then you get to add the next two Geoballs to that strike. If your first Geoframe was a spare then you get to add the next Geoball to that spare. If your first Geoframe was an open frame then that is your total for that Geoframe.

Why eleven caches ? If your tenth Geoframe was a strike or a spare then you can use the eleventh Geoframe to add to that. If your tenth Geoframe was a strike then you get the entire total of the eleventh Geoframe. If your tenth Geoframe was a spare then you add the first Geoball of the eleventh Geoframe to your score.
