The is a tribute cache in thanks to the Point Reyes community who came to my fair rescue.
This is my first hide to commemorate my driving home after a long shift at work only to hear a "snap," loss of power steering, and a sudden spray of steam hitting my windshield as my engine reached the very dangerous red point on the temperature gauge. Pulled over into the nearest pullout, and in an instant, a neighbor slowed down to yell that he'll call it in to Cheda's for a tow once he got "over-the-hill" and in cell phone range. Next car heading towards town was a preschool teacher's mom and I hopped in. Gotta love a small town. Here's to the locals!
*This is a typical sized ammo can with a large camo. Please be careful and replace it gently to keep the camo intact.
