Geocache Description:

Small PVC container with log and pen.

The Taft Chamber of Commerce has declared Taft the Gateway to the Carrizo Plain!!! I made a cache in honor of this monumentous occasion called, "Gateway to the Carrizo Plain!!!".

Then I decided that where Soda Lake Road meets Highway 33/166 really seems like The Real Gateway to the Carrizo Plain!!!.

However Crocker Springs Road will eventually turn into Hurricane Road and will lead you directly over the Temblor Range and into the Carrizo Plain. As a result, I think this is just Another Gateway to the Carrizo Plain!!!.
