Smokey's Secret Stash is located near Old Mill Picnic Area and the Lee Canyon wildland fire station. It has some elevation changes, that a child could easy take. Young children may need an adult to help move heavier objects.
THIS CACHE IS BACK UP AND OPERATIONAL, June 2010

Smokey Bear turned 65 on August 9, 2009. To celebrate, Smokey's firefighting friends just across the road decided to celebrate by placing this cache in his honor.
Let's all take responsibility and care for our beautiful Spring Mountains by remembering Smokey's messages.

Please remember fire restrictions while on Federal lands. Fires are only allowed provided steel BBQs, or provided steel fire pits/rings at the designated campgrounds and picnic areas. Gas stoves are okay. If you have questions regarding fire restrictions, please ask a firefighter or forest ranger.
