Geocache Description:

A short walk to ‘two’ lovely little waterfalls located just outside the quiet little township of Lilydale. (My Home Town)!!

Another spot that once had a cache placed here that I feel needs to be re-visited.
As there hasn’t been an ‘active’ cache here for a few years now I felt the need to get this beautiful location back on the Geo-Caching map. With all the visiting and ‘newish’ local cachers trekking around Tasmania these days, I felt this area defiantly needed to be back on the radar.
A short stroll will have you at the falls in 5 to 10 minutes; the track is rather damp and slippery as this area doesn’t get a lot of sunshine so solid footwear and a bit of care would be a good idea here.
As the GPS fix could be a bit erratic here I have given some rather ‘give away’ hints to hopefully give you an easy find. This area is rather delicate so I don’t want you frolicking around a large area as this could damage the pristine surroundings.

SO, it’s important to be aware, YOU DO NOT NEED TO LEAVE THE STEPS, WALKWAY in your search and also the retrieval of the cache.

Cache is a 1 lt sistema container which has a number of key rings in it (10).
The purpose of this cache is to have ‘finders’ either swap or just leave another key ring in the cache.
If there’s a key ring in there you would like, by all means take it. BUT if you take one, could you also please leave one. If this happens then there should never be less than (10) key rings in the cache at any one time which then will give “you” a good selection to pick from.
