Geocache Description:

Cache No. 10 on the Crewe and Nantwich Circular walk. A round trip of 28 miles on flat but, at times, muddy fields and canal tow paths.

The Crewe and Nantwich circular walk circles the two towns of south Cheshire and takes in some interesting locations. It can be a bit muddy and badly signed so I thought that a new cache series might make the route a bit more trampled and obvious. The plan is to locate a cache at approximately 1 mile intervals along the route, starting at No. 1 on the Northern section. Anyone can join in and place a cache on the route - the more the merrier, but try and stick to the one mile rule to start it off.

Anyone who has visited C&N1 will be familiar with the idea of this little cache, but there are more dice in this cache. If you would like to play, the rules are in the cache and are also here:-

Welcome to the poker dice cash

Each player has three rolls. On the first roll, you roll all five dice. You may then set aside any number of dice and re-roll the remainder.

After the second roll, you may once again set aside any number of dice and re-roll the remainder.

Once dice are set aside, they may not be re-rolled. A player is not required to make a second or third roll.

Hand Ranks, starting with the highest are as follows

* Five of a kind, e.g. q-q-q-q-q
* Four of a kind, e.g. k-k-k-k-*
* Full house, e.g. k-k-q-q-q
* Three of a kind, e.g. q-q-q-*-*
* Two pairs, e.g. 10-10-q-q-*
* One pair, e.g. k-k-*-*-*
* High card, e.g. A-*-*-*-*

You can log your score if you like and wait to see if the next cacher can beat you. Once someone has five of a kind we can start again.

Please don't take any of the dice as swaps or you will ruin the game.This is a very quiet spot, so you are unlikely to be muggled if you play.

The cache is best approached from the village of Weston, where there is a grade 2 listed Inn that has rooms for the night for any brave walkers doing the complete C&N circuit

Well done to dmsstonerambler on the ftf and hard luck to katchm
