Greetings,

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so for the time being it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings. We are no longer leaving caches stay disabled for extended periods of time.

Groundspeak and the geocaching community appreciate your contributions to geocaching and I hope to see this cache back in operation soon.

If you can get it back up and running in the next week or so contact me to get it re-listed. Otherwise plan to move it slightly and set up a new cache page.

[Green]Most problems can be solved with good communication so reply back to the reviewer and we will do everything possible within the guidelines to get your cache published. It is best to give me as much information as possible instead of saying nothing at all. This will speed up the process and we can get your cache published. [/green]

Geocache Description:

This multi cache is located around one of the most popular public fishing holes in the area, so lookout for the muggles. The first two stops have special containers that only include coordinates to the next stop. The final is a small lock rite container.

This is the third and final cache in my “Not” series, named after some books by one of my favorite authors. I'm curious if anyone can guess who the author I'm referring to is from the title of this and the others in the series. This isn't meant to be an additional logging requirement, but I'd love to hear from you if you know who he is.

This one isn’t as much of a park and grab as the other two were, but it still should be fairly quick for a multi cache. Parking is handy for the first stop, and there is no need to move your vehicle for the other two stops. The first two stops are on fairly easy terrain, mostly on grass with gentle slopes, with only one minor rough area. The final is a bit rougher to get to, with some bushwhacking and some light climbing.

After finding the cache, the area would be great for a family picnic. There are tables and shelters readily available. The kids, and adults, will probably enjoy the covered bridge that you will walk through if you take the easiest route to the first stop.

I’m not really a fisherman, but I filled the final cache with some small fishing items. Honestly, I’m not sure if they are even for the kind of fishing you would do around this lake, they were just cheap! If you happen to trade other fishing items, please remember to make sure that if they are sharp, such as hooks, to package them safely. Also, bait with a smell of any kind would be a bad idea. I've also included a FTF $ coin, a travel bug, and a geocoin.

I hope you have as much fun finding this cache as I’ve had hiding it. This has been my favorite cache to place so far.

Congrats to Trtle48 on the FTF!
