Geocache Description:

This is the fifth cache in our Lands End series. This series will take you along Lands End Road starting at the Grand Mesa National Forest border, along the twists and turns of it’s switchbacks, over the rim of the Grand Mesa and beyond. This area is one of our favorite places to be, and we thought that it deserved more attention and appreciation for the beauty that is here.

From this vantage point, you can see the waterfall caused by the creek that empties from Bolen Reservoir. This waterfall often dries up during the hottest part of the year. However, the water that runs out of the pipe, runs year round. After finding the cache, be sure to stop at the observatory at the top to enjoy the view and the wildlife.

Small trade items and trackables will fit inside the cache. Make sure that the container is sealed before replacing it. This is typically not accessible Dec. 1 through May 31, due to snow pack.
