This is further up past ROK-y Mountain High approximately 1500ft above sea level that equally requires some physical preparation for the almost 1-hour hike. You need to bring water and a walking stick will help. There are a few slippery turns, take precautions. Camera is a must.
Further up a well-established path will lead you to the peak of Dae-Wang-Am which is marked by a rock formation that is hard to miss. Before any ROK Marine Recruit becomes a full-fledged ROK Marine, one last final endurance test is to hike in full battle gear to this landmark. This is the culmination of their training. Along the way are a few needed rest and rescue points. One landmark is a metal plate that contains a figure of a compass that was placed by the local district of an international organization. A traditional geocache is hid around this landmark. Find the cache and share the ROK Marine's pride.
